Colour for all: New Sharp MFP in the entry-level segment
Green (foot)print
The MX-2310U makes an important contribution to protecting resources: The scanner on the multi-functional system, which has been awarded the "Energy Star" environmental label, is equipped with power-saving LED lights. The warm-up period was reduced to under 20 seconds. The system also supports the Sharp eco-driver - a pop-up window is displayed for each print order showing the recommended settings for environmentally friendly printing thus motivating users to save paper. A status display also informs you about the number of pages saved to date so you can see your very personal "eco balance" at the end of the month. In addition, the MX-2310U automatically goes into standby mode if it is no longer being used. With a TEC limit value(1) of 1.72 kWh (average weekly utilisation), the energy balance is 63% lower than the previous model.
Higher productivity
At 23 pages per minute, the MX-2310U achieves high printing and copying speeds even when using the colour setting. Thanks to the scanning speed of 50 originals per minute, paired with the originals tray that takes up to 100 sheets and can turn them over, the user has the opportunity to scan both sides of complex orders easily and to pass then on directly by electronic means. The "scan-to-me" function enables scanned documents to be sent directly to the employee's email address at the press of a button. It is no longer necessary to send them by internal post, which is complicated and takes a lot of time. In this way important orders can be handled quickly and easily.
Simply efficient
The company not only protects the environment's resources with the MX-2310U - but rather also those of the employees. Operation via the 17.7 cm colour LCD touch screen with a practical thumbnail preview and stylus pen is easy. Those responsible for IT can display the operating panel from any network location thanks to the pre-installed "Sharp Remote Device Manager" and this enables them to take over operation, change settings, provide technical support or offer spontaneous training sessions.
